At Avian Exotic Clin Path Lab, we believe in maintaining the highest standards — not
only in diagnostics, but also in the well-being of our dedicated team. Each year, we
take a brief “Annual Refresh” to recharge and return with renewed focus and energy.
To help you plan ahead, please review the following important dates and submission
details.

Sample Submission Deadlines

To ensure your samples are processed before our break:

• Blood Samples: Last day to submit – Saturday, November 1st
  (Last UPS pickup for next-day delivery: Friday, October 31)
• Culture/Fungal Samples: Last day to submit – Wednesday, October 29
  (Last UPS pickup for next-day delivery: Tuesday, October 28)
• Samples received after these dates will be securely stored and processed when
  the lab reopens on Tuesday, November 11.

Annual Closure Schedule

The lab will be closed November 3–8 for our Annual Refresh. During this time, we
will continue to receive and store incoming shipments to maintain sample integrity,
though testing will not resume until reopening. Our team will be available by phone
and email on Monday, November 10 for any questions or concerns.

Shipping Reminder

To ensure your samples are ready for immediate processing when we reopen, please
arrange UPS pickup on Saturday, November 8 or Monday, November 10. Samples
received during closure will be processed in order of arrival starting Tuesday,
November 11.
